Pabu and Tash - Litter #2

The kittens in this litter were born to Pabu and Tash on August 28, 2015. This was their second litter.

The photos below were taken on Saturday, October 10th, when the kittens were 6 weeks and 1 day old.

Kitten #1

Name: "Prince"

Kali and Chris in Sherwood, OR

Brown Tabby

This little guy runs to greet his people and is very affectionate. He loves to be scratched behind the ears and under the chin. He likes to snuggle into the nook of a neck and play with hair, or hunker down into a lap and play with a person's fingers. He is very interested in humans and their activities. He is extremely easily handled. He is a fearless climber and a playful little furball, but he's mostly a lover at heart. He sometimes even enjoys tummy rubs. He's going to make an excellent companion kitty.

Kitten #2

Name: "Bibbidi"

Tami, Caitlyn & Connor in Tigard, OR

Blue Tabby & White

Bibiddi is the largest of the girls, and one of the three biggest kittens overall. Like all of the kittens, she runs to greet her visiting humans with great enthusiasm. Bibiddi has a very balanced personality in that she can hold her own among the more playful of her siblings, yet when she chooses she can remove herself from he fray to go calmly sit on the lap of her human and drift off to sleep. She likes to be scratched behind the ears and around her neck.

Kitten #3

Name: "Beatrix"

Virginia & Donald in Tigard, OR

Shaded Silver

Also known as "Queen Bea" and "Trixie", Beatrix is the smallest kitten in the litter. But don't let her tiny size fool you. This girl has a big personality. She was the first kitten to open her eyes, the first to really begin "walking" and the first to take to solid food. She's small, quick and smart - but also very sweet. If a human is sitting cross-legged on the floor, she will hop into the center, snuggle up and go to sleep. She loves to be pet along her back and scratched by her tail. She also likes her neck and the back of her ears rubbed.

Kitten #4

Name: "Quinn"

Dotti in Sherwood, OR

Brown Tabby & White

This little guy loves his people, but he doesn't need to be coddled every moment of the day. Like the others, he always comes running when his people arrive, wanting love and affection. While he comes around for his snuggles and pets, likes to play with his people, and will often fall asleep on a human lap, he's not as clingy as some of his siblings.  He's playful and likes to explore his surroundings, so he's great fun to watch. When he's sleepy, he will snuggle close. It is then that he loves to be pet and rubbed under the chin and around the ears. He is happy to be entertained, or he can entertain himself. So, he's kind of the best-of-both-worlds in that regard. He might be well-suited to someone who is looking for the sweet Persian personality without the "Velcro®-kitty" concern. I suspect that, as a mature cat, he will stay close and ever-watchful, but will not need constant attention.

Kitten #5

Name: "Yoshi"

Greg and Cindy Lou in Portland, OR

Blue, Shaded Silver & White

If you are looking for a lover-boy, this may be the kitty for you. Of the male kittens, Sweet Pea and Smokey are the two love sponges. Sweet Pea will soak up all of the attention that you can give him. He loves to be scratched, rubbed and pet. He's easily handled and very tolerant of hygienic care. This little guy is one of the three biggest kittens. He's hardy, round and a little ball of playful affection. He's going to grow into a regal, loving, companion cat. His nose color is filling in and should soon be all black like his mother's.

Kitten #6

Name: "Sybil"

Megan in Sandy, OR

Brown Tabby & White

This little girl has beautiful facial markings and the sweetest expressions ever! She earned her nickname because she is the most talkative of the kittens, letting me know in her sweet, melodic kitten voice that she'd like me to pet her or pick her up and cuddle her. She doesn't vocalize incessantly, but she does let me know when she needs something. She is very nurturing toward her siblings and even her mother, and can often be seen "cleaning" them. She loves to sit with her human visitors, playing on a lap or falling asleep snuggled up against a human body. She has a very sweet personality.

Kitten #7

Name: "Berlioz"

Lindsay in Portland, OR

Brown Tabby

This little guy has a big personality. He loves everything about his little kitten life. He has a lot of things to do in between each of his daily naps, and there just never seems to be enough time to get all of those things in. There are human socks and fingers to play with, brothers and sisters to battle, cat toys to seek out and destroy, a litter box in which to dig around, food to experiment with ("Should I bat it around, or should I eat it?"), human visitors who give good scratches and pets, things to climb, places to run... but he's getting sleepy... so sleepy... so maybe he'll run in a minute, after he curls up here next to this warm human and closes his eyes... just for a moment...
